For my Soundcloud project, I wanted to create a “song” about my daily life as a college student in Boulder. I tried to have it flow like a story with fade ins and outs. It started as I do every day with my phone going off either as an alarm or a phone call. I always have my fan going so that was included as I went through my morning routine at home. The next audio clips were just basic things that I do in the morning. When I “leave the house” I made sure to add a clip of some background music with a far away effect to make it seem like it was coming from my airpods. This music continues on through my day to show that I usually go about my day listening to music. I ended my day at my old place of work where I was a bartender. I added a clip of the sound of a shaker making a cocktail. I liked this project but had some trouble with Adobe Audition. I wish I added more effects but it was difficult to make them go with the realistic-like theme. It was fun piecing together different audio clips from other students and trying to fit them into my story.
